Can It Survive a day with Chris Northover?
Bike World TV Voge DS900X EXTREME Off Road Test - Can It Survive a day with Chris?
Whilst the Voge D900SX is sold an an ADV Tourer machine, it's very much focussed on predominantly on road escapades. It's a big comfy bike that weighs 220 kilos, it's designed to carry 2 in comfort across Continents and tackle some trails and green lanes along the way. No sane person would buy one to take it Enduro Riding - Would they?
Well Never one to follow a beaten path, Bike World TV's Chris Northover has decided to Beast a standard D900SX around the multitude of Tough Off Road Trails at Enduro World in South Wales for a full day to see how well the poor bike copes... The only thing he asked for (the afternoon Before the test) was that we removed the 3 part hard luggage and could we fit some more off road orientated tyres to cope with the Enduro trails, so we made a quick call to SMD tyres and grabbed a pair of Michelin Annakee Wild road / trail tyres. Apart from that - the bike was totally standard and as you will see from the review - Nothing Bent or Broke in 6 hours of solid Off road abuse including multiple jumps and a 3 foot drop into one of the more extreme trails which left a lovely smooth indent into the cat in the headers (Thank Chris for that!) and Chris was seriosly impressed at how well the Big Voge took Everything in its stride operating so well out of its Comfort Zone.
It all bodes well for Voge's Legendary build quality that these bikes are built to last !
